My Picks for the All-NBA Teams

With the 2015-16 NBA regular season almost in the books, the end of the year festivities approach. One of the most honored accolade for a player is to be named to an All-NBA team and in this article, I will be choosing my All-NBA players.

All-NBA First Team

Russell Westbrook highlights a stacked All-NBA First Team

  • Stephen Curry (GSW)
  • Russell Westbrook (OKC)
  • LeBron James (CLE)
  • Kawhi Leonard (SAS)
  • Draymond Green (GSW)
This list consisted of the top 5 NBA players, supposing that Draymond will be counted as a center. There were other names that didn't quite make the list such as Demarcus Cousins, James Harden, and LaMarcus Aldridge just to name a few. It was also hard to not include Kevin Durant. He  has also had a great season. Westbrook is being counted as a guard and he is having a career year, he was basically a triple-double machine every game. The other names mentioned do deserve this honor, not only in my eyes, but in the eyes of most sports reporters as well.

All-NBA Second Team

LaMarcus Aldridge is being named thePass' All-NBA 2nd team

  • Chris Paul (LAC)
  • James Harden (HOU)
  • Kevin Durant (OKC)
  • LaMarcus Aldridge (SAS)
  • Demarcus Cousins (SAC)
My All-NBA second team is pretty star studded, including most of the big names that weren't included in my first team. While some argue James Harden's defense hurts his ranking, he has been very efficient on the offensive end and is surging the Rockets to the playoffs. Demarcus Cousins had many incidents on the court which were questionable (Check out my article on him, The Boogie Issue) yet he has turned into a monster and is putting up big numbers. LaMarcus Aldridge also deserved a spot, in my eyes, because of his impact on the team and his numbers. Sure he has been inconsistent, but he still is one of the best big men in the league.

All-NBA Third Team

  • Damian Lillard
  • Klay Thompson
  • Paul George
  • Andre Drummond
  • Deandre Jordan
In this list, I added the last few stars in the NBA that deserved to be on the All-NBA list. While Damian Lillard was snubbed yet another All-Star appearance and has since been on fire. Thompson has made it in as well, producing even better numbers from last year when he was named to the All-NBA third team. Some can argue that Paul George deserves a higher spot, yet he has cooled down after an impressive start to the year and his team hasn't been very well. Drummond also made the list after being named an All-Star and putting up career numbers. Finally, Deandre Jordan got the final center spot with his great contributions during Blake Griffin's absence. He has been a defensive monster and a terrific finisher around the rim.
